Rogue knew Wolverine could handle himself. Even against Sabretooth, he would come out alive. She just didn't want him to come out bleeding all over the floor and fixing to pass out.

Besides, she was there. It wasn't like she was going to turn tail.

Fighting in a hallway always posed some problems for her, the chiefest of which being she was fighting in a hallway. It made it harder to use her speed to its full advantage- namely, in flight. But she could make it work. Come in for what added up to distracting headshots, mostly, but if she could help to keep Sabretooth off-balance, then at least it was something.
