"...maybe," Madelyne fires back from her stall across the aisle, turning herself around to catch a view in the mirrors of every possible angle she could ever be viewed at. She'd been a little skeptical about this when Rogue had first thrown it out there, because since when did no money and a ghost town add up to fantastic shopping adventures that couldn't be replicated with a catalog? As it's turned out, however, this day is exactly what Madelyne's been needing to snap herself out of her perpetual frustration at being back in New York with no way whatsoever to even try to pick up the pieces of her former life.
Stepping out of the changing room in a sparkly silver short-sleeved cocktail dress that she's spent five minutes trying to pin down her opinion on (and a pair of gold pumps that she's been too in love with to take off since she saw them), she heads over to the mirror at the end of the row, hoping it might somehow offer new insights.
